This story is about the nearly impossible transformation of a marginally educated, substance abusing young girl. Daughter of a dead father and drug addicted mother, Molly Sheridan is drifting through a life that most certainly will end in tragedy. With the unwanted support of friends, teachers and administrators, she is thrust into very unfamiliar territory. College.

Unable to deal with a sudden onset of epilepsy, she drops out, seeking only to find what she imagines as a normal life before dying from a seizure. A certainty in her mind.

Bad decisions, followed by bad behavior land her in jail. Given an unusual break by a caring lawyer and sympathetic judge, she reluctantly returns to school, ultimately declaring her intent to become an electronic engineer. The decision comes at a high cost. Socially and academically unprepared, Molly struggles daily with conflict, seizures, obstructing adults, and unlimited self-doubt.

Slowly, over months, she reluctantly realizes that she possesses a brilliant mind. She begins to emerge from her self-induced isolation, only to be confronted with a sinister force that will kill her sooner than later. Balancing school and the constant threat of death, Molly sets out to uncover the reason for her

peril.

Suddenly she realizes that whoever was after her is now after everyone helping her find the source, placing them in imminent danger. Time begins to run out quickly as they inch closer to the truth.

Now, it's a race for survival, with a very slim chance that one one of them will live.
